For new pupils, especially pre primary, school uniform is not essential to start classes. The uniform is encouraged when children are happily settled into their classes.
When children progress to the new grade which necessitates a change of uniform, it is quite acceptable to continue in their old uniform until it is outgrown.
The above uniforms are also examination regulation dress and are required when the appropriate examination is taken.
